I took the suggestions of others and tried a few tweaks on this image. So the horizon is now even, and the background is now white. And the B&W was all my idea. I think you'll like. I hope anyways.

I like this one more without the colors..... But it still looks like its going backwards.

this is gorgeous.. i know they miss the colors but i like it this way too. only thing with the b&w is you lose the bird in the second pane from the left.. doesn't draw your eye anymore. other than that, i really like this

Its not the B&W that cost me the bird. It was the evening of the horizon. To make it even, I tilted the image, and then had to crop it straight again, and so I lost some of the bird, enough that it cost the image...

I dont hate you, but to be honest, I think it's either going to be B&W with the white, or color with the black... and tilted horizon.
