Black Ribbons & Black Lace


The meanest thing you ever did
You did to me a day ago
As you attempted feebly
To tie black ribbons in a bow

And as you finished tying them
A beaming smile across your face
My heart leaped up as you showed me
Black ribbons leading to black lace

Oh how I wanted to reach out
And trace my fingers on your skin
Across each graceful curve of yours
Chasing black lace that's there to trim

This sight I see I can't resist
Placing my lips on spots I've kissed
